My final double page for my music magazine
Here I had payed close attention to the out fit of my model and researching on the type of clothing that I would see street based girls wearing; however I also looked at a few R&B magazines of female models and had compared their clothing to what I would see a girl wearing on the street and really it was not that different as both seemed to wear clothes that were casual but also stylish and flashy also. In regards to my models make up I had chosen to used dark eye make up as I thought is would complement my models tanned skin. I had also chosen to use a bright purple lipstick for here lips as I thought it would bring more attention to my model and I felt it blended in well with her face. In the essence of the background I wanted to present my model in front of a wall. I deliberately made sure that the wall did not look too brand new but slightly warn out to give the impression that model is posed in an alley way, which could represent that she lives within a rough area or another kind of urban environment.

Here I have paid close attention to the outfit of my model. I had done a fair bit of research into the outfits R&B singers. Through my research I could see that a lot of the R&B singers tended to stick to black or any other dark colours also they mostly appeared to wear oversize clothes as well, whether it was a jacket or T-shirt etc. I had also researched on R&B magazine front covers to see what kind of clothing the male models wear. Through my research I could notice that the clothes which the singer presented wearing on magazines and the clothes which they wear in public are quite similar, which concluded me to choose an over sized black jacket and shirt. Furthermore I had also visited quite urban areas such as Thamesmead and Elton and paid close attention to the type of clothes which males around that area wore. Through my research I could see that most males had similar clothing to R&B singers. However the clothes were not as flashy which gave me the idea to make my models clothing appear a little less expensive so it could relate to my target audience. In regards to the background I had to research quite a bit on the backgrounds of R&B magazines. Through my research i could see that a majority of the magazines stuck to a plain, dull background, which is why I made my background a plain grey colour. I feel this could have been done so that the background those not draw attention away from the model.

My Final Content page for my music magazine
Just like my front cover I had also performed the same similar research in the essence of choosing an outfit for my model; however I was already aware that I had used black clothing for my model on my front cover. Through research I was able to see that the next popular colour which is worn by R&B singers was brown. This is what I had chosen to give my model an over sized brown fur jacket as not only does it look eye catching by it also looks flashy and casual at the same time. On the other hand I did add black trousers and a black shirt as I felt that the jacket should be the center of my viewers attention. As this is a content page I felt that the colour of the background should match to the colour of the front cover as I felt that a dramatic change of colour when my viewer changes the page would not be suitable as it would then take all the attention away from the important parts of my magazine such as the image and text as the viewer would be more interested to see a completely different change of colour, also I feel that the colour grey matches to the themed genre of the magazine.
